Cats and Bruises

Cinco de Mayo. The mice are dancing. Sylvester puts on a pair of mouse ears and tries to join in, but Speedy sees through the disguise. He lures Sylvester away from the other mice, and ducks inside a dog pound. Sylvester follows, then quickly escapes, but Speedy “yee-hah”s him back inside. He escapes again and tries to bash Speedy with a piece of pipe. He quickly tires. Speedy comes back, and Sylvester nets him; Speedy pulls him up stairs, and into a telephone pole. Speedy is canoeing with his sweety. Sylvester tries to catch up in a raft, but Speedy throws a dart. Speedy is serenading his sweety in a high window; Sylvster sends himself up with a seesaw and grabs Speedy, but the weight hits Sylvester in the head. Sylvester builds a rocket go-kart; Speedy stops, and Sylvester keeps going, off a cliff and into a lake; after some time underwater, the car propels Sylvester way off. The fiesta resumes, and Sylvester shows up in a wheelchair. Speedy walks off; “this is the only way to run.”
