Jerry experiments with potions, and creates a chemical potion which grants him superspeed. He steals food from Tom, while his speed renders him invisible to Tom. Tom fears that he is facing a ghost, and tries various ways to preserve his food. Tom films one of Jerry’s thefts and uses slow motion to find out the thief’s identity. He realizes who he is facing, but remains unable to stop Jerry. When the effects of the potion wear off, Jerry tries to recreate it. He accidentally creates an enlargement potion, and turns himself into a giant. Tom fails to realize this, and tries to catch him. The film ends with a giant Jerry looking menacingly at Tom, as the cat screams in fear.
